Fletcher Forum Interview with Dr. Sadiq Syed

The Fletcher Forum sat down with Dr. Sadiq Syed, Deputy Regional Program Director of UN Women Southern Africa and Indian Ocean Islands. Dr Sadiq Syed is a human rights professional specializing in women’s rights and served extensively in conflict, post-conflict and developing countries. Dr Sadiq holds LL.M from University of Delhi and PhD in Women’s Rights Law from Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University. He is currently serving as a Deputy Regional Program Director with the UN WOMEN Regional Office for Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Dr. Sadiq sat down with Phoebe Randel, Senior Editor of The Fletcher Forum, to discuss international trends in women’s rights, regional patterns, and his role as a man analyzing women’s rights issues.
